Job Description

FXDD seeks a web developer to join our development team. Candidate should be self-motivated, energetic, driven and looking to build a career in a fast-paced market environment at a top brokerage firm. Responsibilities include designing and building scalable enterprise (high traffic and availability) class web based applications. Participate in requirements gathering, prioritization, work estimates and scheduling.

Job Requirements

  • Strong Analytical and communication skills
  • Expert at hand-coding clean, coherent, compliant, and semantic HTML/CSS (Javascript a plus)
  • Minimum 5 years experience with PHP (Perl, XML, AJAX, and Webservices a plus)
  • Minimum 7 years web development applications experience
  • Strong understanding of HTML standards and coding best practices
  • CMS experience preferred: Typo3, Drupal or Joomla
  • Familiar with relational databases
  • Bachelor's degree required
