JOB DESCRIPTION

FXDD is seeking a Core Java Developer to join our development team and help us continue implementation of leading technology solutions that drive our business. Candidate should be self-motivated, energetic, driven and looking to build a career in a fast-paced market environment at a top brokerage firm.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Math/Engineering
  • Proven Experience on an enterprise-level J2EE Projects
  • Strong Analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with performance tuning distributed applications
  • 5 years development experience with attention on EJBs, JMS and distributed caches; fault-tolerant, load balanced and transactional algorithms
  • 5 years experience with Java Technologies like collection framework, multithreading, IO subsystem
  • 3 Years Experience with J2EE application servers WebLogic, JBoss or WebSphere
  • Understanding and experience in Object-Oriented Design Principles
  • Understanding and experience with build tools like maven/hudson/svn/git
  • FIX experience is a plus
  • Tomcat experience is a plus

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining FXDD applications.
  • Work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications.
  • Designing, building, testing and implementation of deliverables.
  • Take ownership and accountability for the deliverables in all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Proactively participate in platform design and review activities.
