FXDD is looking for articulate, resourceful, mature and outgoing individuals to expand their Technical Support Team. The team works directly with both internal users and external clients supporting all of their computer hardware, software and networking requirements.
Responsibilities
Tier 2 technical sales support for a global customer base providing system tuning and client/server trading application troubleshooting
Support and maintenance of FXDD desktop systems software, hardware, and network infrastructure connectivity
Perform basic Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange server administration tasks
Maintain account, password, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment
Technical liaison for customers and users to the FXDD Information Technology departments
Requirements
Proven track record of troubleshooting and repairing hardware, software and networking issues
3 years experience supporting 125+ user environment including some general Active Directory and Exchange administration
Working knowledge of networking concepts including Internet functionality, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and VPN
High level understanding of telecommunications, wiring, hub/switch/routers, server environments and storage
Team/results oriented, flexible, proactive, self-starter able to work in a cross-functional team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication
Sound decision making and critical thinking
Organization and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a very fast paced, energized trading floor environment
